Have you been out the whole of last week, lounging around the park reenacting your favourite scenes from Titanic with your friends when you could have been checking out our Cult of Razer Blog for ESWC updates? Shame on you.
Now there’s only going to be one person “flying” and it’s not going to be you. As of today, the King of the World would be Emin Mailian who will be expecting an autographed Razer Goliathus mouse mat in his mailbox due to his love for Razer and gamer girls – not necessarily in the same order. Thank you all for participating.

It was a bitter sweet day for Team Razer at the ESWC today across all competitions. Team MYM’s DotA team are being perched on the podium to receive the bronze while Cypher from Team Serious Gaming endured an exit in the second group stage of Quake Live due to some stiff competition in fellow Team Razer player, Cooller.
Cooller then went on to meet Cypher’s team mate, Avek, in the semis only to lose to the latter. Avek will now meet long time Quake adversary, Rapha in the final match.
The Counter-Strike ladies from Team Mousesports battled well but eventually gave way to Millenium from France in the 3rd/4th place playoff.
Things are looking good for Team WeMade FOX as both Lyn and Moon have made it the finals of WarCraft 3 making it a double header between the two close team mates. The good news is that they’re both walking away with the gold and silver. Congratulations to all for a tournament well fought!

Progress has been good for most of our teams on Day 2. Our female CS team from Team Mousesports and Team Serious Gaming’s Avek and Cypher started their campaign today to great effect.
The girls narrowly lost to Brazil’s “firegamers Ladies” 14-16 but came back strongly to beat Aurora Gaming and mythiX.Space Kidettes! 19-11 on both matches to book a place in the next round.
It was business as usual for Cypher, Avek and Cooller (Team Mousesports) as they play their second round of Quake Live matches tomorrow.
In WarCraft 3 Moon and Lyn from Team WeMade FOX take their usual place in the quarter finals tomorrow while their Counter-Strike counterparts need a result against Fnatic to progress to the next round.
Team MYM’s DotA team are the closest of the lot so far to the grand prize. They’re semi-finalists in their tournament and we wish them the best of luck as they try to reach the pinnacle of the competition.
Watch out tomorrow as we have an exclusive interview with the girls from the Mousesports CS team and also some autographed product to give away. Watch this space.

More Razer love? Oh you're too kind.

Off to the semis!

With emphatic wins over their opposition, this Counter-strike team is looking to build on some good momentum to go for gold. Razer|Nerdalert talks to Fatih “mouz|gob b” Dayik after the round of matches on Day 1.
Razer: Your wins looked pretty comfortable today.
Mouz: Yeah we’ve been training a lot and we have been coming up with new tactics for this competition. It’s the first time we’re going to try these new strategies. We played the maps “inferno” and “nuke” which our opponents did not expect us to be good in.
Razer: How have you been training?
Mouz: We had a boot camp recently to get our skills in shape. Cooller has also been great to have around.
Razer: Has he been guiding you guys in the art of FPS?
Mouz: Haha not really I mean, he plays Quake which is different to CS but we try to learn about training methods. Overall he’s been real cool and fun to have around while travelling to Paris.
Razer: So lastly, who do you think will be tough to beat in this competition?
Mouz: The usual. We’re looking at Fnatic, NaVi and MTW. We’re just hoping to do our best and take each game at a time starting tomorrow.

At the end of the first day of matches in Paris, the Team Razer flag stands strong as our representatives, Team WeMade FOX, Team Mousesports and Team Meet Your Makers (MYM) got through to the next rounds of their respective groups fairly easily.
Cooller made it 3 wins out of 3 in Group 2 of the Quake Live competition while it was also the same news on the Counter-Strike front as the guys from WeMade FOX and Mousesports won all their games too. WarCraft 3 juggernauts, Moon and Lyn from WeMade FOX will also find themselves in the next round to fight for gaming honours.
MYM are looking sharp for the next round of DotA with qualification secured despite a loss in their first match against tournament favourites, AEONsport.
Fans of Team Serious Gaming should not worry as Avek and Cypher will be playing their first matches tomorrow.
Below are pictures from the first day in Paris. Stay tuned for more updates from the floor!
