It is a proud day for us in Razer and for the community, to officially announce that one of the world’s best gaming teams hailing from South Korea – WeMade FOX has joined Team Razer!
WeMade FOX is one of the most well established pro-gaming teams in Korea having left their mark in the Starcraft, Warcraft 3 and Counter Strike competitions domestically and also internationally.
WeMade FOX’s popularity also derives from its star-studded line up that will get any e-gaming enthusiast salivating. Lee “NADA” Yun-Yeol, a long time member of the team, has challenged for honors at prestigious competitions such as Blizzcon, SKY ProLeague and has won the recent IeSF (International e-Sports Federation) tournament to prove that he is one of the best Starcraft players around.
Lee “NADA” Yun-Yeol
Being highly comfortable with the Terran race, Lee “NADA” Yun-Yeol was given the nickname of “Genius Terran” for his creative strategies and excellent micromanagement abilities.
Jang “Moon” Jae Ho
Another familiar face would be Warcraft 3 juggernaut, Jang “Moon” Jae Ho who has amassed tons of awards in his career as one of the world’s best Night Elves. He has come in first place at the ESWC Masters, Dreamhack, Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals and has also won for himself the ESports Award Player of the Year, Best Warcraft 3 Player and Korean Player of the Year in 2008.
WeMade FOX ‘s Counter Strike team has also been a very consistent feature in the clan’s stable, coming in second place in 2009’s Intel Extreme Asia Masters and DTS-CUP and are striving for further honors in future tournaments.
The decision for the guys at WeMade FOX to jump aboard the Team Razer bandwagon was easy; with both Razer’s and WeMade FOX’s vision being the same – to be the absolute best in gaming. “We are more than happy to sign with Team Razer. For years, Razer has been known to have made the most cutting-edged gaming hardware which has been key to our high level performances in the many tournaments we participate,” said Young-Hwa Kim, Head Leader of WeMade FOX. “Now with all our members decked out in Razer gear, I’m sure our performances will improve during training which I’m confident will translate well when we take it to the tournaments.”
“As a team packed with such brilliant individuals, WeMade FOX are a dangerous proposition for any competitors in the eSports arena,” said Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president of Razer. “I’m proud to have WeMade FOX as part of our illustrious group of cyber athletes. I’m sure that we can work with them, as with our other teams, to develop better gaming hardware and push the threshold for gaming technology outfitted solely for gamers in mind.”
