Team Razer & Manaflask team up

Two of the world’s best WoW guilds, backed up by a community portal of true enthusiasts of the realm of Azeroth, are finally part of Team Razer. Welcome Manaflask, one of the premiere places to go if you are in love with Blizzard’s MMO blockbuster. Driven by their deep desire to continually uphold and develop the quality of MMO gameplay and knowledge database, Manaflask now has our complete backing and full access to our state-of-the-art MMO gaming equipment to accomplish this task and dominate the prestigious progress-rankings of the world.

“Without any doubt, MMO games are one of our great loves and this partnership proves our devotion in pushing the genre and its competitive character even further,” said Robert “RazerGuy” Krakoff, President, Razer USA. “Manaflask is the go-to place for guides, information and insider tips for all things Azeroth.  With our help, they’ll be able to continue and extend their high quality content, provide the best entertainment and mentoring to our beloved community and crush through mobs for the honor of achieving more world’s first boss-kills.”

Worlds first – that’s the ultimate goal of every WoW gamer. If you also challenge the highest instances in hardmode you know this is only easy when talking about. But once you and your 24 friends engage the fight, even theory gets stomped on the battlefield and every single fault can end up in a wipe.

For the Horde and Ensidia fight on the forefront of the progress. Sometimes they are the first ever to discover bosses that were even hidden during the testing phase, like Sinestra who was spotted by For the Horde after their Cho’gall worlds first. Flawless communication and perfect execution of strategy is their ace and we deliver them the equipment they need to set their names into the stones of the world rankings.

“Manaflask, along with World of Warcraft’s top guilds, For the Horde and Endsidia, are extremely excited for this opportunity.” says Hans Christian Dürr, team manager of Manaflask. “With our guys now equipped with premiere Razer MMO gaming gear, we will face new patches, arena matches and raids with utter confidence. We will be the first to conquer new content and once we do, we’ll share all the knowledge the community will need.”

Every single gamer at Manaflask, experts and beginners, professionals and fans are sharing the same deep passion for the game. In depth analysis and guides from For the Horde, Germany’s finest and Ensidia, the elitist mix of European WoW experts, are only the tip to the iceberg of shared experience and knowledge about how to succeed against Deathwing and his minions. Both guilds and all their members take it upon themselves to dutifully document the best and most useful information in order to help fans around the world to stay on top of their game.

Sharpen your sword, grab your shield and polish your armor. Razer and Manaflask have teamed up to send Deathwing and his armies back to where they came from. For the Horde. For the win.

The Terran Emperor’s Return

The Exodus has begun. Blizzard’s sci-fi real-time strategy game, StarCraft, has long been the standard for balanced and competitive gaming as well as eSports’ most popular medium in professional RTS tournaments. But with the release of the game’s much anticipated sequel, StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty, thousands of StarCraft pro-gamers are beginning to adapt to the sequel and apply their gaming skills to the brave new battlefield.

All hail the Emperor

One of StarCraft’s finest and also Korea’s most televised pro-gamer has joined the move. His known StarCraft alias is “SlayerS_`BoxeR`”, to his fans he is known as the“Terran Emperor”, and to the whole gaming community, Lim Yo-Hwan is known as eSports’ most popular StarCraft pro-gamers ever to take the stage. And in order to once again shake the foundations of professional gaming, Lim Yo-Hwan enlisted with the top level, professional game lineup of Team Razer.

The Rise of the Emperor

During the early the days of StarCraft, Terran was the least played race in the game. Compared to the more offensive-oriented Protoss and Zerg, Terran’s characteristics forced a more defensive gameplay for most professional gamers. Lim Yo-Hwan however, managed to devise innovative strategies with Terran.

Among the techniques he used were the efficient movement of Terran Dropships and Ghosts to quickly harass and destroy enemy strongholds and the construction of “proxy” bases. With his creative style of gameplay, he single-handedly revolutionized Terran and showed the gaming community – a more entertaining and competitive StarCraft. His use of the Terran race, plus his overall dominating performance and victories, earned him the moniker “Terran Emperor.” He was also known as the “Hope of the Terran” for re-imaging the once shunned race to a popular, commonly used pick.

Fame and Glory

eSports is becoming Korea’s most prominent sport. Being Korea’s most famous professional gamer, Lim Yo-Hwan was also treated as one of Korea’s most famous celebrities. With over 1,000,000 fans all across the globe, the games of Lim Yo-Hwan are in high demand. His particular style of play and widespread were the reasons why a DVD, with a record of his most prominent StarCraft games, was produced.

When Lim Yo-Hwan was eventually drafted for the Korean’ military mandatory service, the pro-gaming community kept watch of his progress in the army. It was his fame that allowed him to represent the Air-Force pro-gaming team. And when Lim Yo-Hwan’s military service ended, the gaming community had all eyes on Yo-Hwan’s promised comeback.

A Reign Renewed

Lim Yo-Hwan seeks to reign supreme again in Blizzard’s latest RTS and replicate the fame and glory he built during his StarCraft years. Lim Yo-Hwan currently holds the most televised game victories with more than 500. He was named ESReality’s greatest gamer of all time in 2004, while also achieving the “The 10 Most Influential Video Gamers Of All Time” recognition from MTV in 2006.

He currently has championship records in numerous leagues such as Ongamenet Starleague, World Cyber Games, KT-KTF Premiere League and KPGA MBC. He holds the record of most consecutive months to be ranked number 1 in KeSPA (Korea e-Sports Players Association), reigning for 17 months. His fresh start in StarCraft 2 is as anticipated as the game itself.

Razer and the Terran Emperor

In 2011, Lim Yo-Hwan joined the elite lineup of Team Razer. “I have always been a fan of Razer’s mice,” says The Terran Emperor, ” I’ve always played with a great level of comfort and precision when using the Razer DeathAdder. Ever since then, I’ve been using that for training, practice games and tournaments. I made the strategic choice in joining Team Razer in order to maximize my style and always be in top shape in every game.”

Lim Yo-Hwan currently competes in professional StarCraft 2 games. He is also starting his own StarCraft 2 team named “SlayerS”. With his reputation, entertaining style of play, his renewed vigor for success and legions of fans behind him, Lim Yo-Hwan’s move to StarCraft 2 will add excitement and fierce competitiveness to the game.

Lim Yo-Hwan now strives to boost his momentum in the StarCraft 2 scene. The arrival of StarCraft 2 has presented him with the opportunity to again take the professional gaming world by storm. He plans to revolutionize the game again through his exciting and creative style of play. And through this, Lim Yo-Hwan plans to add more victories and fame to his living legacy as a professional gamer.

One thing is for sure though, with his promise of redemption, and his exodus to the sequel, Lim Yo-Hwan, the “Terran Emperor” has returned.

For the past few months we’ve also been constantly eyeing our Facebook page like a wild hawk, just counting the numbers until it hits the big 100,000.

What number is it, you say? It’s the 100,000 fan count of course! It seems that someone didn’t read this post’s title.

With emphatic wins over their opposition, this Counter-strike team is looking to build on some good momentum to go for gold. Razer|Nerdalert talks to Fatih “mouz|gob b” Dayik after the round of matches on Day 1.

Razer: Your wins looked pretty comfortable today.

Mouz: Yeah we’ve been training a lot and we have been coming up with new tactics for this competition. It’s the first time we’re going to try these new strategies. We played the maps “inferno” and “nuke” which our opponents did not expect us to be good in.

Razer: How have you been training?

Mouz: We had a boot camp recently to get our skills in shape. Cooller has also been great to have around.

Razer: Has he been guiding you guys in the art of FPS?

Mouz: Haha not really I mean, he plays Quake which is different to CS but we try to learn about training methods. Overall he’s been real cool and fun to have around while travelling to Paris.

Razer: So lastly, who do you think will be tough to beat in this competition?

Mouz: The usual. We’re looking at Fnatic, NaVi and MTW. We’re just hoping to do our best and take each game at a time starting tomorrow.
