Razer for Extra Life 2011

We would like to let you guys know that Razer is taking part in an awesome charity initiative called Extra Life 2011. On October 15th for one full day, or 24 hours straight, we’ll be playing games to raise money for hospitalized kids who must get better.

We’ve got gamers from all the Razer offices around the world taking part, and to top it all off, the company’s donating $100 for every Razer employee that takes part in the glorious 24 hours of gaming. Yes, at Razer, we support our employees’ gaming habits with hard cash.

Here’s where you come in. We’d like to call upon our awesome community to help out by donating to the cause. Every little bit you give counts, and every little bit you give goes directly to the kids. Please click the link here http://www.razerzone.com/extralife2011 to go to our donation page and see all the really cool people who work at Razer doing their bit to make a difference. Read up on their individual profiles and donate to whomever you’d like.

As the event draws nearer, we’ll have more information on hand as to what exactly we’ll be doing on the day itself and how you can be a part of the fun. So stay tuned. In the meantime, help us share this post to all your friends and family to get them onboard with the donation drive. And if you want to read up more information about the charity event itself, click here http://www.extra-life.org.

From us Razer gamers to all you fellow gamers,
Thank you (:

Pray For Japan | A Team Razer Charity Initiative

The pro-gamers of Team Razer across the world have come together to share this important video message with you – encouraging the collective gaming community to help Japan in their time of need.

Team Razer including members like StarCraft II legend Yo-Hwan ‘SlayerS_Boxer’ Lim, Linda ‘Pikachu’ Liao, and MMO Guru John ‘Swifty’ Pyle organized a fundraising event to donate proceeds from mouse mat sales on Razerzone exclusively for two weeks to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

When you purchase a mouse mat, you can choose to convert 100% of your payment to a donation by entering the code ‘Pray4Japan’ upon check-out.  Without taking a single cent, Razer will route donations directly to Red Cross until April 19th.  And the mouse mat will be given to you free for your kind support of this cause.

If instead, you’d like to give directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society or any other charity groups, we have the link for you below.  Every little bit counts.

Thank you.
