I’ve been looking into getting this mouse. Mainly because it’s badass, in addition it has two buttons on the left click button which would be very nice to have for the games that I play. Having 3 buttons within reach of my trigger finger would be simply incredible. However this mouse is right handed and would feel awkward in my left hand. Can you guys tell me if/when you guys might come out with an ambidextrous mouse that has the three left click design of the mamba? I would buy the mamba without question, instantly, except for it’s right handed.

I found what was causing the acceleration. When I read about Dynamic DPI Scaling at Razer Blueprints, it sounded exactly like what I was seeing, so I bought it again and updated to firmware 1.06 instead of 1.07. Wow, this is the way I was expecting the mouse to act in the first place. No acceleration at all, jitter is extremely minimal to non-existent (even with 1.06 firmware), and of course I’ve always loved the DeathAdder shape (and thus the Mamba). GREAT mouse! Hopefully in the future, you will release two different versions of your firmware, one with and one without Dynamic DPI Scaling, or incorporate an option into the driver itself to enable/disable it.

That might have been an issue where you could have fixed it with the drivers or something with your system settings. Sorry to hear you got rid of it, we probably could have addressed it.

I really adore the razer mamba. It is one hell of a mouse. It looks nice and is perfectly good for right-handers. I am right-handed and I currently own the razer lachesis. I bought that earlier as it was the best mouse in 2008 and I cant hold it properly as it does not really appeal to palm- holders, more to claw-holders. I am now saving money for this mouse and am going to buy it as soon as I have the money. THANK YOU Razer, for building the best mouse ever. Only if the price were $15 dollars cheaper…

I really wish I could buy this mouse, but like many others, I need a left-handed version. I don’t understand why gaming mice specifically for lefties are impossible to find. Sure, from a marketing standpoint the target audience is smaller than right-handers, but there are also few alternatives for lefties. I think the first company to release a decent lefty mouse for gamers would gain complete control of that demographic. It makes fiscal since, so why not do it?

I like my ambidextrous copperhead, but it’s wearing out and doesn’t hold a candle to the potential of a simple left-handed version of the mamba.
