Its a great mouse ill give it that but my mouse light wont change colours when I try to configure it :/

I just got the new Mamba 2012 and I can’t get the wireless mode to work! The pairing does not seem to want to work as specified. I press the base button with the mouse button (sync button) and the base does not flash like it is supposed to (from instructions from manual) but the mouse wheel flash. The base does not flash until after I release the button on the base. So after this, I tried pressing the mouse until it flashes then stop, I tried pressing the mouse then let go, I’ve basically tried every possible scenario and nothing, the 2 won’t pair. It works great in wired mode but I need to have this work in wireless. My computer and where the mouse sits is about 4 feet away, having the wire means that I don’t have too much free play with movements. Can someone suggest anything? Do I need to re-install the drivers on wireless mode first?

Basically a real great piece of hardware, from feeling and usage maybe the best wireless mice on the market today, but also with some problems.

1) Battery time is maximum 6 hours (after a 24 hours rest on the charger with disabled wireless function) in a non-gaming environment, then the mice is dead without any further warning …

2) After 2 month of usage (and I am not a gamer), the wheel is starting shaking around for probaly 1 mm left and right, causing scarping and soul-destroying noise.

That is not really was I expected for a 130 Euro mice …

But if you will be able to fix that issues, you should open your mind to new markets (beside the gamers) and go to CAD and CAE customers. Just think of a 3DConnexion Space Pilot on left hand and a mamba on right hand, that’s like heaven for CAD and CAE workers like myself …
